Sekinchang (适耕庒) is a small town located in the State of Selangor, it take approximately 1 ½ hr drive from Kuala Lumpur, provided there is no traffic jam. Sekinchang is also one of the major rice producing areas of Malaysia, since it is located near the sea, there are a lot of fresh and nice seafood for sales too.
We went to check out this seafood restaurant - JIANN CHYI SEAFOOD RESTAURANT(建旗海鲜饭店) for their famous Shark meal (鲨鱼餐), this shop has been featured in Astro, AEC,Taste with Jason (阿賢人情味)
The owner is very friendly, he even show us some of sharks that they use for the dishes
These are the dishes that we tried during our visit :
2. Crispy Salted Fish, good to eat with beer, it's not salty at all
3. Shark Porridge 鲨鱼粥 (不辣)
4. Steam Fish Head 蒸鱼头
5. Fish Maw with vegetable 鱼鳔
6. Pan-fry shark fish 煎鲨鱼

7. Tiger Shark braised with pig’s intestines and pork
